The two Registrars of Voters are responsible for conducting all Referenda, Primaries, Audit and Election events in North Haven. They hire and train all Election staff, and produce all of the necessary Election materials. Each year, the Registrars carry out a State mandated Canvass to update the town voter registry. The Registrars are also administrators of the State Election Laws. The Registrars use a State centralized voter registration system [ConnVerse] to register voters, maintain voter records, produce voter lists for Elections, and compile voter statistics. In compliance with State and Federal election laws, the Registrars test and use Accuvote Election tabulators during all Election events. A printable voter registration form is available on the Registrars of Voters page on the town website.

As of Aug 2022, there are approximately 18000 active registered voters in North Haven
